avoidavoid is the combination of the electronic sounds of Cal Muck, and the voice and flute of Frederica Silva.
Fred grew up in Lisbon, studied classical flute in the Netherlands, and then came to Barcelona to find jazz. Cal grew up in London, absorbing electronic music and teaching himself how to produce, before fleeing the English drizzle to Barcelona. In spite of their almost total obliviousness of each others’ respective musical worlds, they found that their individual sounds blended beautifully to form something new and intriguing.
